Fact about Power Pickaxe

This card may seem to be a good counter against current format that heavily rely on graveyards.

It is true that it is able to slow down the game a bit, since u may be removing some important cards from opponent’s grave.

However, let’s face the fact that this card practicality is low because your enemy will definitely able to retrieve the removed from play cards easily if it work pretty well in grave.

Do you expect your enemy to build a Vayu Turbo or Zombie Synchro without burial from different dimension?

Comparison between similar cards

Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer:

The best part of this card does not lie on the ability to remove from play cards, but the ability to prevent remove from play. Comparing both cards can be quite unfair for Power Pickaxe, so let's skip this part.

Soul Release:

It takes 5 turns for you to remove from play the same amount of cards that Soul Release able to remove from play in one turn. I definitely not expecting the monster equipped with this card to stay on the field more than 3 turns. The 500 point of attack boosting can be ignored.

Dissapear

Although it can only remove from play 1 card from the grave, it creates better advantage than an equip card that can only be activated during your main phase and not to mention, once per turn. The advantage this card has over Power Pickaxe is, it is CHAINABLE. Many people use cards that remove S/T one by one to prevent the Emergency Teleported Stardust - Starlight Road.
